The Christian School “Learn and Live”, nonprofit entity, was founded on January 13, 2003 with the goal of serving children from low and middle -income community. Today we have 109 children aged 2 to 10 years and 21 workers. All our teachers are Christian, have a life committed to God and seek to help children to know Jesus. Our goal are, through school, disciple children in the way of the Lord, and reach students families. Our Biblical curriculum provides tools to teachers to teach God’s character for the generation that stands up today. It’s based on the belief that children can know God in their first years of life, that the living God should permeate the classroom,, be reflected in teachers and welcomed in the learning process. We have weekly prayer meetings with their mothers. We seek to evangelize parents in specific programs such as Father’s day, Mother’s day, Easter and closing party. The school hire teachers and YWAM workers who are volunteers. The fee have an affordable value to the community and cover only wages and salaries. We have a goal of expanding early childhood education for next year given the large demand we have had and do not have physical space to receive these children. We would like to provide improvements in the library and create a computer lab to meet the learning needs of our students.
