Cutting Horse Chaplaincy
Assemblies of God U.S. Missions chaplains Mike and Rosemary Randolph have been working with horses all their lives. The couple grew up in the western subculture of Texas and met while attending Texas A&M University, where they both competed collegiately in rodeos.
The Randolphs came to know Christ at the age of 30, after a decade of marriage. Three years later, the Randolphs sold everything they owned, including their home, cattle and horses, to answer their ministry calling.
For the past 15 years he has been a chaplain to cutting horse competitors, blending his passion for ministry with his own unique background in cowboy culture.
They spend virtually all their time on the road, living in close quarters of a specialized horse trailer with a tiny apartment that contains bare necessities, and can accommodate tack and four horses.
