Eric Porter graduated college with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. He has been a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God for 15 years and a full-time youth pastor for 12 years. He is now a full-time, nationally appointed orphan care missionary with the Assemblies of God.
With the vision to prepare the church to stand ready for orphans. Eric also serves a ministry called The Keep as the Vice President of Church Relations. The Keep empowers the local church to create a culture of families prepared to accept the calling of orphan care.
There are 127 churches engaged, in 5 states, and 210 families have respond to foster/adopt. The Keep engages, equips, and empowers the church to create a culture of families prepared to accept the calling of orphan care.
As an intermediary, The Keep builds partnerships with organizations involved in foster care, adoption, and orphan missions and connects them with the local church, so they can meet the needs.
